According to UNICEF, around 40% of The Gambian population do not have access to safe water or sanitation and 20% of the deaths of those children under the age of five are caused by water, sanitation and hygiene related diseases

None of the schools we support have access to safe water or sanitation leaving hundreds of children and young people at continuous risk of illnesses, and even death.

For that reason, we work with local communities to provide safe water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in the schools we work with to reduce absenteeism, the likelihood of infections, and lower the risks of illness and preventable deaths.

With your help we can provide vulnerable communities with access to sustainable sources of clean, safe water.
